Boiling water, try #14

Some days your brain just isn't up to speed on reality. I put water in the waterboiler to make rice, when it's hot I poured it into the saucepan, only to half-way think that i have to measure it. So i think "I'll just pour it out and measure some of what's left in the boiler"...and begin pouring the water from the saucepan and the boiler. So I pour some new water into the boiler to start over and some rice in the saucepan. Then I somehow forget the water in the boiler and pour some cold water from the pipes into the saucepan with the rice in it. So I decide to skip the whole waterboiler entierly and let the water boil on the stove. Only to five minutes later discover that I turned on the wrong plate...not my brightest moment.
